Terms & Conditions: Massage Treatments

 

 1.📋 General Information

  • Canine massage is a complementary therapy, not a substitute for veterinary care.
     
  • The Therapist does not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication.
     
  • A veterinary referral/consent form will be required before treatments begin, in line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966.
     

2. 📅 Appointments

  • Appointments must be booked in advance.
     
  • Please arrive on time; late arrival may reduce treatment time.
     
  • The Therapist reserves the right to refuse treatment if the dog is unsuitable for massage (e.g., aggression, severe illness, unclean, or injury requiring veterinary attention).
     

3. 💰 Fees, Deposits & Payment

  • Session fees are payable at the time of booking or immediately after the appointment, unless otherwise agreed.
     
  • Deposit: A deposit may be required for the first session, which will be deducted from the total cost.
     
  • Preferred payment: Cash or BACS at the time of treatment.
     
  • Invoices can be provided if required.
     
  • If claiming through insurance, clients are requested to pay upfront and reclaim the sessions directly from their insurer.
     
  • Late payment will incur interest at £5 per week (or part thereof) on top of the original payment until the balance is cleared.
     
  • Prices are subject to change; the current price list will be available on www.timeforpooch.co.uk
     

4. 🚫 Cancellations & Missed Appointments

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: no charge.
     
  • 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the appointment fee will be invoiced.
     
  • On-the-day cancellation or non-attendance: 100% of the appointment cost will be invoiced.
     
  • The Therapist reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
     

5. 🐕 Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must disclose all relevant medical/veterinary information about their dog prior to treatment.
     
  • Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations (or titre tested) and free from contagious conditions.
     
  • Dogs must be clean and dry for treatment. Dogs that are unclean or wet may have their appointment postponed or cancelled at the Therapist’s discretion.
     
  • Dogs showing signs of illness, including vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious conditions, must not receive treatment. Sessions should be postponed until the dog has fully recovered to protect the health of your dog, other dogs, and the Therapist.
     
  • The Client remains responsible for their dog’s behaviour and safety during appointments.
     

6. ⚖Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure safety, the Therapist is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from treatment, except in cases of proven negligence.
     
  • The Client accepts that results may vary depending on the individual dog and condition treated.
     
  •  The Client agrees to indemnify the Therapist against claims arising from withholding relevant information about the dog’s health or behaviour.
     

7. 🔒 Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • Personal data will be collected only as necessary for providing services and will be handled in line with GDPR.
     
  • Client information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
     

8. 🔄 Updates to Terms

  • These T&Cs may be updated from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on www.timeforpooch.co.uk.
     

Terms and Conditions: Purchases

🧾 Returns & Refunds Policy — Workshops & Courses

We want you to feel confident and excited about joining our workshops. While we don’t offer physical goods, we still aim to make your experience as smooth and transparent as possible.

🎯 Cancellation by You

  • Up to 7 days before the workshop: You may cancel for a full refund.
  • Less than 7 days before: We’ll offer a 50% refund, or reschedule you for a future session (subject to availability).
  • 24 hours or less before: Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds, but we may be able to reschedule you.


🔄 Cancellation by Us

  • If we cancel or postpone a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be offered the choice of a full refund or a rescheduled session.

📩 Transfers

  • You’re welcome to transfer your spot to another person—just let me know at least 48 hours in advance.


🚫 No-Shows

  •  If you don't attend and haven't contacted us, no refund will be issued.  


📚 Returns & Refunds Policy — Digital Downloads (eBooks)

I'm passionate about creating content that informs and inspires. Because our eBooks are delivered digitally, they’re considered non-returnable once downloaded. However, I believe in fairness and transparency, so here’s how I handle exceptions:


✅ Refund Eligibility

  • If you purchased an eBook by mistake, please contact me within 24 hours and before downloading, and i'll  issue a full refund.
  • If the eBook is technically defective (e.g. corrupted file, missing content), I’ll either replace the file or offer a full refund—just reach out within 7 days of purchase.
  • If you encounter issues with access or delivery, I’ll work quickly to fix it or refund you if the issue can’t be resolved.


🚫 Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • Once an eBook has been downloaded or accessed, we unfortunately can’t offer refunds unless there's a proven technical issue.
  • Refunds will not be granted for dissatisfaction with content or buyer’s remorse.

📦 Returns & Refunds Policy — Physical Goods

We want you to love what you purchase. If something’s not quite right, here’s how we handle returns and refunds:


🔁 Returns

  • You may return items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange, provided they’re unused and in original packaging.
  • Please include your receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Items that are damaged, worn, or missing components may not be eligible for a refund.


🚚 Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
  • I recommend using a trackable shipping service.


❌ Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers)
  • Personal care items (e.g. opened skincare)
  • Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)

🧾 Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days once I receive and inspect the returned item.
  • I'll notify you by email once your refund is issued.

📥 Exchanges

  • If you'd prefer a different item, size, or color, let us know—I'm happy to help arrange an exchange (subject to stock availability).
